1.) The setting takes place in an orfanage in Flint Michigan, then he goes to a little town called Hoovervill. If Bud lived in 2010 there wouldn't be people gathered in a bunch of different places living in tents and gathered around a campfire.

1.) The setting of the story is the orphanage home in Flint, the Amoses, the Flint version of Hooverville, and Grand Calloway Station where the band and Miss Thomas lives.
ReplyDelete2.) The characters that Bud met effected and changed his life by caring for him by feeding him, giving him a home.
3.) Bud has changed from the beginning to the end of the story by getting more care than he used to at the Amoses or at the orphanage home in Flint.
the story takes place in an orphanage in flint, Michigan. it also takes place in hooverville which sounds like a nice place because everyone helps one another and shares everything with everyone and grand rapids michigan.if hooverville were there today it wouldn't have tents it might have small houses and buildings for cooking instead of fires pits. it also would have many pots instead of large pots. another change would be instead of large pots for washing clothes it may have 1 or more washing machine and drying machine.

one way the people changed his life is that he doesnt use his jack nife as much this makes me think that he trust more people than before.

one way he changed is encountering people that he trust and turns out liking them. also not using his jack nife so he trust more people that he. he also started to talk abou his feelings more. one big way he has changed was him crying to release his feelings this is a big change because he said that he doesnt cry no more.

The setting for Bud Not Buddy is in Flint and in Herman E. Calloway's house. I think that Bud would have a better life because today people can get adopted and in the book I think that the Amos family just wanted to get paid and that is why they took Bud,as today you can chose whether you want to keep the child or leave it their.
ReplyDeleteI think that the some of the characters that he has encountered change his life because like the Amos family, he got taught that people don't always trust you at first, and sense he learned that their when he went and found Herman E Calloway he wasn't very fond of Bud. After awhile though Herman started to trust Bud more. Bud also started to tell the truth more than in the beginning of the book because he does not keep going back to the rules of making lies.

1.)If this took place in 2010, Bud would have probly had a nicer home than the Amos' because not as many people hate African Americans like the Amos' did back then.
ReplyDelete2.)People like Lefty Louis helped Bud get closer to his father by taking him in his car. People like Mrs.Thomas and the rest of the band were nice to Bud and helped him fill in the places that Bud missed out on because of his father leaving Bud and his mother.
3.)Bud has changed by getting closer to his family and knows lots more about life and his family.

1.) The settings of the book are the Amos's who locked Bud in their shed. If this happened in 2010 I think that Bud would get better care.
ReplyDelete2.) Different characters that Bud met on his journey changed his life by helping him get through his problems.
3.) Bud's life was changed by Herman E Calloway said that he was not Bud's father.

2.) The different characters Bud has incountered have effected him by making him think different about things.
ReplyDelete3.)Bud changed from the begining to the end by not lying as much and trusting his father.
